2 1/2h Guided Bicycle Tour Discover Heidelberg

Delightful, enjoyable, introduction and learning experience of Heidelbeeg

My friend and I signed up a week in advance, thinking it might fill up. It didn’t. We were the only two people and hence experienced a very personable focussed tour, and could freely ask numerous questions. Felix is very fluent in English, having lived fir several years in the UK. The tour covered both new and old aspects of this lovely, romantic city of Heidelberg. From the 14th century castle and University in the Alt Stadt to the recent conversion of a former NATO base, now repurposed for modern / eco community living, we saw and learned of the many sides to the city. The biking was not at all strenuous, (my friend and I are both 65+) and found it very easy to keep up. New bikes and Helmuts are provided, and very appropriate for the tour. We both thoroughly enjoyed ed our time with Felix whose knowledge of the city and its history was extremely informative as an introduction to the city. I highly recommend this tour.
