From Zugspitze, take the B2 road towards Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Continue on B2 for approximately 12 km until you reach the city. Once in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, follow signs for Grainauer Weg. Turn left onto Grainauer Weg and drive until you see Gartenbahn-Miniatur at number 19. Parking is usually available nearby, but be prepared for potential parking fees which can vary.
Train and Bus
Begin your journey at the Zugspitzbahn station. Take the Zugspitzbahn train to Garmisch-Partenkirchen station. The train ride takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Garmisch-Partenkirchen, exit the station and take bus line 1 or 2 towards Grainau. Get off at the stop 'Grainauer Weg' and walk for about 5 minutes to reach Gartenbahn-Miniatur, located at Grainauer Weg 19. The total cost for the train and bus ticket is approximately 10-15 euros, depending on the ticket type.
Walking
If you are in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, you can also walk to Gartenbahn-Miniatur. From the town center, head east on Bahnhofstrasse towards Garmisch-Partenkirchen station. After about 1.5 km, turn onto Grainauer Weg and continue straight for another 800 meters until you reach number 19. The walk will take approximately 25 minutes and is a pleasant stroll through the town.
