    Car

    From Zugspitze, head southeast on the B2 road towards Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Continue on B2 for approximately 20 kilometers until you reach the exit for Murnau am Staffelsee. Take the exit and merge onto the B472. Follow the signs for Murnau am Staffelsee. Once in Murnau, keep an eye out for Kottmüllerallee, where the Münter-Haus is located. The museum is at Kottmüllerallee 6, and there is parking available nearby.

    From Zugspitze, make your way to the nearest train station, which is in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. You can take a bus or taxi to the train station. At Garmisch-Partenkirchen station, buy a ticket to Murnau am Staffelsee. The train ride will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Murnau train station, exit and walk to the bus stop outside the station. Take bus number 9620 towards Murnau Stadtmitte and get off at the Kottmüllerallee stop. The Münter-Haus will be a short walk from the bus stop at Kottmüllerallee 6.
