Car
If you are driving from Zugspitze, take the B2 road south towards Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Follow the signs for Garmisch-Partenkirchen and continue on the B2 for about 16 km. Once you reach Garmisch-Partenkirchen, follow the signs towards 'Kramersteig'. You may need to park at a designated parking area near the base of the Kramer mountain. Keep in mind that parking fees may apply, usually around €5-€10 for the day.
Public Transportation - Train
From Zugspitze, take the Zugspitze Railway back to Garmisch-Partenkirchen station. This scenic train ride takes approximately 40 minutes. Once at Garmisch-Partenkirchen, exit the train station and look for the local bus service (Bus #1 or #2) that goes to 'Kramersteig'. The bus ride will take around 10-15 minutes. Be prepared to purchase a bus ticket, which costs approximately €2-€3.
