Car
If you're traveling by car, start from Zugspitze and head towards Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Take the B2 road south towards Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Once you arrive in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, follow the signs for 'Partnachklamm.' You will turn onto the Wiesenweg road and continue until you reach the parking area. The parking lot is near the entrance, but please note there may be a parking fee of around €5 for the day. After parking, it’s a short walk to the entrance of Partnachklamm.
Public Transportation
To reach Partnachklamm using public transportation, start at the Zugspitze station. Take the train to Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Once you arrive at Garmisch-Partenkirchen station, you can either walk or take a local bus to the entrance of Partnachklamm. If walking, head south on Bahnhofstraße until you reach Wiesenweg, then follow the signs to Partnachklamm. The bus fare is approximately €2-3. The walk from the train station to Partnachklamm is about 30 minutes.
Walking
If you prefer to walk from Garmisch-Partenkirchen, it’s about a 30-minute stroll to Partnachklamm. Start from the Garmisch-Partenkirchen train station and head south down Bahnhofstraße, then take a left onto Wiesenweg. Follow the signs to Partnachklamm, and enjoy the scenic views along the way. This route is pedestrian-friendly and offers a pleasant walking experience.
