Public Transport
From Garmisch-Partenkirchen, take the Eibsee Bus (9840) directly to Eibsee. The bus departs regularly and the journey takes approximately 40 minutes. A single ticket costs around €5.50. Alternatively, take the Bayerische Zugspitzbahn (cogwheel railway) from Garmisch-Partenkirchen to the Eibsee Zugspitzbahn station. From there, it's a short walk to the Eibsee-Miniatur. Note that the Eibsee bus is not included in the Bayern Ticket.

Driving
From Garmisch-Partenkirchen, follow the signs for Eibsee. The drive takes about 15 minutes. There are two main parking areas near Eibsee (Parkplatz am Eibsee and Parkplatz Seilbahn Zugspitze). Parking costs approximately €8 for up to 4 hours, with an additional €1 for each subsequent hour. Early bird parking (5:00 AM - 9:30 AM) is available for a discounted rate of €2.50. Be aware that parking can be limited during peak season. Free parking is available along Eibseestraße, about a 20-30 minute walk to the lake.

From Garmisch-Partenkirchen, take the Bayerische Zugspitzbahn (cogwheel railway) to the 'Eibsee' station. From the train station, it is a short walk to the Eibsee-Miniatur. A roundtrip ticket to Eibsee costs around €7 if you have a Bayern Ticket. From the Eibsee train station, you can take another train to the Zugspitze, Bf Zugspitzplatt for €16.
