Car
From Aburi, head east on the Aburi-Koforidua road. Drive for approximately 14 kilometers until you reach the outskirts of Koforidua. Look for signs directing you to Wireless Pole Road. Turn left onto Wireless Pole Road and continue for about 1.5 kilometers. The Obuo Tabiri Mountain Peaks will be on your left. Ensure your vehicle has enough fuel, as there are limited gas stations along this route.
Public Transportation
From Aburi, take a trotro (shared minibus) to Koforidua. These trotros depart frequently from the main station in Aburi. The fare is typically around 2 GHS. Once in Koforidua, ask the driver to drop you at the nearest junction to Wireless Pole Road. From there, you can either walk 1.5 kilometers to the Obuo Tabiri Mountain Peaks or hire a motorcycle taxi (also known as an 'okada') for about 5 GHS to take you directly to the location.
Walking
If you enjoy hiking, from the center of Koforidua, you can walk to the Obuo Tabiri Mountain Peaks. Start from the main market and head east towards Wireless Pole Road. Follow the road signs and pathways for about 2 kilometers. This walk will take you through local neighborhoods and offer a glimpse of the daily life in Koforidua. Ensure you have comfortable shoes and stay hydrated.
