From Aowin, head east on the main road towards Takoradi. Continue until you reach the junction leading to Accra on the N1. Merge onto the N1 and drive towards Accra. Once you reach Accra, follow signs for the Central Business District. As you approach Jamestown, look for Bruce Rd. Turn onto Bruce Rd, and the lighthouse will be located at 600 Bruce Rd. There is limited parking available nearby, so be prepared to find street parking.
Public Transportation (Bus)
Start at the main bus terminal in Aowin. Look for a bus heading to Accra. The journey may take several hours, depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the Accra bus terminal, you can take a taxi to Jamestown Lighthouse. Inform the taxi driver that you want to go to 600 Bruce Rd. The taxi fare will typically range from GHS 20-30, depending on traffic.
Public Transportation (Shared Taxi)
From Aowin, you can also take a shared taxi to Accra. These taxis usually leave from designated taxi stands. Once you arrive in Accra, take a local taxi to Jamestown Lighthouse, again specifying 600 Bruce Rd. Shared taxis are often more convenient and may cost a bit more than buses, around GHS 25-35 for the trip to Accra.
