    If you are traveling by car, start from Kumasi, the capital of the Ashanti Region. Take the N6 road south towards Cape Coast. The journey takes approximately 2.5 to 3 hours, depending on traffic conditions. Once you reach Cape Coast, continue on the main road until you get to the junction at 'Cape Coast Castle'. Follow the signs for 'Unnamed Road'. After about 10 minutes, look for Fort Nassau on your right side. There is no official parking at the site, so be cautious and park on the side of the road.

  • Public Transportation

    For those using public transportation, head to the Kumasi Central Bus Station and take a bus heading to Cape Coast. The bus ride will take about 3 to 4 hours. Once you arrive at the Cape Coast Bus Terminal, you can take a shared taxi or a trotro (minibus) towards Cape Coast Castle. Ask the driver to drop you off at 'Unnamed Road'. From there, it is a short walk (approximately 10 minutes) to Fort Nassau, which will be on your right. The bus fare from Kumasi to Cape Coast usually ranges from 20 to 30 GHS.

  • Taxi

    If you prefer a more direct route, consider hiring a taxi from Kumasi to take you straight to Fort Nassau. This option is more expensive, with fares typically around 200 to 300 GHS, but it provides a comfortable and quicker journey. Simply inform the driver to take you to 'Unnamed Road in Cape Coast' and they will know to head towards the area where Fort Nassau is located. Ensure to negotiate the fare before starting your journey.
