If you are driving to Bomfobiri Wildlife Sanctuary, start from the nearest major city, Sunyani. From Sunyani, take the N6 road towards Techiman. After approximately 20 kilometers, look for signs leading to Enikawso. Follow the signs and take the turn onto the road for Enikawso. The sanctuary is about 15 kilometers from this turn. The total drive should take around 45 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to check your fuel before the journey, as there are limited fuel stations in the vicinity.

To reach Bomfobiri Wildlife Sanctuary using public transport, find a trotro (shared minibus) heading to Techiman from Sunyani. You can catch a trotro at the main bus station in Sunyani. Once you arrive in Techiman, you will need to take another trotro or taxi to Enikawso. It’s essential to inform the driver that you want to go to Bomfobiri Wildlife Sanctuary. The entire journey may take about 1.5 to 2 hours, including waiting times between transfers. Expect to pay approximately GHS 10-15 for the first leg to Techiman and an additional GHS 5-10 for the second leg to Enikawso.

For a more comfortable option, you can hire a taxi from Sunyani directly to Bomfobiri Wildlife Sanctuary. This is the most convenient method, especially if you are traveling in a group.
