Car
If you are traveling by car, start your journey from the nearest major town in Bono East Region, such as Techiman. Head east on the N6 highway towards Ho. After approximately 35 kilometers, take the exit towards Afadjato, following the signs to Mount Afadja. Continue on this road for about 10 kilometers until you reach the base of Mount Afadja. There is a parking area where you can leave your car, and from there, you can begin your hike to the summit.

To reach Mount Afadja via public transportation, first take a shared taxi or a bus from Techiman to Ho. The journey takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Once in Ho, look for a local taxi or a shared taxi (trotro) heading towards Afadjato. Inform the driver you wish to visit Mount Afadja. This part of the journey should take around 30 minutes. The taxi will drop you off at the base of Mount Afadja, where you can begin your hike.
