Getting There

  • Car

    If you're driving, start from Techiman, the capital of Bono East Region. Head towards Nkoranza on the N10 road. After approximately 30 kilometers, turn left onto the road leading to Amedzofe. Continue for about 12 kilometers until you reach Amedzofe. Look for signs directing you to Mt. Gemi, which is located just outside the village.

  • Public Transportation

    From Techiman, you can take a shared taxi or a bus heading to Nkoranza. Once in Nkoranza, find a taxi that goes to Amedzofe. The fare for the taxi should be around 5-10 GHS. Upon arriving in Amedzofe, you can either walk to Mt. Gemi, which is about a 30-minute walk from the center of the village, or hire a local taxi for approximately 10 GHS to take you closer to the mountain.
