    From the center of Cape Coast, head towards the Cape Coast Castle. Walk along the main road, which is known as 'Castle Road'. When you reach Cape Coast Castle, continue walking along the coast for about 20 minutes until you reach the fork in the road. Take the right fork towards Elmina. You will pass through a few local markets and small shops. Keep walking straight until you see the sign for Elmina Castle on your left. It’s approximately a 45-minute walk from Cape Coast Castle to Elmina Castle.

    Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Cape Coast. Start by cycling towards Cape Coast Castle on Castle Road. After passing the castle, continue along the coastal road. Make sure to stay on the main path and enjoy the views of the ocean. After around 20 minutes, you will arrive at the fork in the road; take the right fork towards Elmina. Continue cycling straight, and you will reach Elmina Castle in about 30 minutes. The total cycling time is around 50 minutes.
