Getting There

  • Walking

    From the Cape Coast Castle, head east on George Bush Highway towards Chapel Hill. Continue straight for about 400 meters, then turn left onto Coronation Road. Fort William will be on your right after approximately 500 meters. Look for the large fortress structure.

    If you are at the Cape Coast Market, exit the market and head south towards the beach. Walk along the beach road until you reach George Bush Highway. Turn left and walk for about 300 meters, then turn right onto Coronation Road. Continue straight for about 700 meters to reach Fort William on your left.
