Car
If you are driving from the nearby city of Ho, take the N1 road heading towards Accra. After approximately 20 km, take the exit towards Kpando. Continue along the road for about 15 km until you reach the village of Asiafo Amanfro. Follow the signs to Umbrella Rock. There is parking available near the entrance.
Public Transportation
From Ho, you can take a shared taxi or a trotro (minibus) heading towards Kpando. The fare is usually around 3 GHS. Get off at Asiafo Amanfro. From there, you may need to hire a local moto-taxi or walk approximately 2 km to the Umbrella Rock site. The moto-taxi fare is typically around 5 GHS.
Walking
If you choose to walk from Asiafo Amanfro to Umbrella Rock, follow the main dirt path that leads into the hills. It is approximately a 30-minute walk. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water, as the terrain can be uneven.
