If you are driving from Ewe, head west on the N1 highway towards Cape Coast. Continue on the N1 for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the town of Elmina. Once you arrive in Elmina, follow the signs leading to the castle. You can park your car near the entrance of Elmina Castle.

To reach Elmina Castle using public transportation, find a Tro Tro station in Ewe. Board a Tro Tro heading to Cape Coast. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Elmina. The fare is typically around 5 GHS. Once you arrive in Elmina, ask locals for directions to the castle. It is a short walk from the main road.
