To use public transport, head to the nearest tro-tro station in Fante. Look for a tro-tro heading to Accra. Once in Accra, you may need to switch to another tro-tro or a taxi that goes to Achimota. Inform the driver you are going to Achimota Forest. The total fare will generally be about 5-10 GHS. Upon arrival, you may need to walk a short distance to reach the zoo entrance.
