From Gwira, head east towards Takoradi - Accra Road (N1). Continue on this road for approximately 4 hours until you reach the outskirts of Accra. As you enter Accra, follow signs towards Osu. Upon reaching Osu, look for the junction to Osu Klottey. The Independence Arch is located at GRX4+JV7, Osu Klottey. Parking is available near the arch, but may incur a small fee.
Public Transportation (Tro Tro)
From Gwira, board a Tro Tro heading towards Takoradi. Alight at the Takoradi Station in Accra after approximately 4 hours. From there, take another Tro Tro heading to Osu. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Osu Klottey. The Independence Arch is a short walk from the Tro Tro stop. Ensure you have some coins for the fare, which should be around 2-5 GHS.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from Gwira to take you to Independence Arch. The journey will take approximately 4 hours, and the fare will depend on negotiation but expect to pay around 150-250 GHS. Confirm the driver knows the location as GRX4+JV7, Osu Klottey.
