Getting There

  • Car

    From Kakum National Park, head east on the main road towards Cape Coast. Continue straight for about 5 kilometers until you reach the junction at the Bunso - Nsutem Road. Turn left onto Bunso - Nsutem Road and continue for approximately 10 kilometers. The Bunso Eco Park (Bunso Arboretum) will be on your right side. Look for the entrance sign and a parking area available for visitors.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Bunso Eco Park from Kakum National Park using public transport, you will need to first get to the nearest town, which is Abrafo Junction. From the park, take a shared taxi or a bus heading towards Cape Coast. At Abrafo Junction, switch to a trotro (shared minibus) that is going towards Bunso. The fare for the taxi to Abrafo Junction is approximately 5 cedis, and the trotro fare to Bunso should be around 2 cedis. Inform the driver of your destination, and they will drop you off near the entrance of Bunso Eco Park.
