Getting There

    From Kakum National Park, exit the park and head towards the Cape Coast-Takoradi Road (N1). Drive for approximately 20 kilometers until you reach the junction for the Elmina Road. Turn onto Elmina Road and continue for about 16 kilometers towards Elmina. Once in Elmina, follow the signs to Bompoi, taking the road that leads towards the coast. After about 10 kilometers, you will arrive at Digya National Park. Ensure your vehicle has enough fuel, as there are limited fuel stations in the area.

    From Kakum National Park, walk to the nearest bus stop or taxi rank. Take a shared taxi or trotro heading towards Cape Coast. The fare is approximately 2 GHS. Once in Cape Coast, switch to a trotro heading to Elmina, which costs around 1 GHS. Upon arriving in Elmina, find a taxi or local transport heading towards Bompoi. This last leg should cost about 5 GHS. The total travel time can range from 1.5 to 2 hours depending on connections and traffic.
