Car
From Keta, head towards Ayonukope by driving on the main road (Keta-Akatsi Road). Continue for approximately 8 km until you reach the junction for Ayonukope. Turn left at the junction and follow the road for about 3 km. Look for a sign directing you to Songor Lagoon Protected Area. There is a small parking area available near the entrance.
Public Transportation
From Keta, take a shared taxi or trotro heading towards Ayonukope. Make sure to tell the driver your destination. The fare should be around 2-3 GHS. The trip will take about 20-30 minutes. Once you arrive in Ayonukope, walk towards the lagoon, following local signs or asking for directions. It's about a 15-minute walk from the main road to the entrance of the Songor Lagoon Protected Area.
Walking
If you are already in Ayonukope, head towards the lagoon on foot. Start from the main market area and ask locals for the direction to Songor Lagoon; they will guide you. The walk should take approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on your pace.
