If you are in the center of Koforidua, head towards the main road, which is the Koforidua-Accra Road (also known as the N6). Walk towards the direction of Accra. After about 15-20 minutes of walking, you will reach the Koforidua Bus Station. Here, you can catch a trotro to Accra. The trotro will take you directly to Accra and will drop you off near the Legon Botanical Gardens Playground. Make sure to tell the driver that you are going to Legon Botanical Gardens, and they will assist you with directions upon arrival.

From anywhere in Koforidua, head to the nearest trotro station and find a trotro heading towards Accra. The fare is usually affordable, but ensure you have some local currency on hand. Once you board the trotro, it may take approximately 1-1.5 hours to reach Accra, depending on traffic. When you arrive in Accra, ask the driver to drop you off at Legon, or you can use Google Maps to ensure you get off at the nearest stop to Legon Botanical Gardens. From there, it will be a short walk towards the gardens.
