Getting There

Walking
Start from the central area of Koforidua, near the Koforidua Central Market. Head southeast towards the main road (New Juaben Road). Walk straight until you reach the junction with the Koforidua-Akwatia Road. Turn left onto the Koforidua-Akwatia Road and continue walking for about 3 kilometers until you reach a signpost for Akaa Waterfalls. From there, follow the sign which will lead you onto a dirt path. The path will take you through some local farms and a small forested area. Keep walking for around 30 minutes, and you will reach the Akaa Waterfalls.

Public Transport (Trotro)
From the Koforidua Central Market, board a 'trotro' (shared minibus) heading towards Akwatia. Inform the driver that you are going to Akaa Waterfalls. It will take about 30 minutes to reach the Asiafo Amanfro area. Get off at the junction where you see a sign for Akaa Waterfalls. From the junction, you will need to walk approximately 1 kilometer along the dirt path that leads to the falls. Follow the path straight until you reach the waterfalls.
