From Kokrobite, head east on the main road towards Accra. Continue on the road for approximately 12 kilometers until you reach the junction for the N1 highway. Merge onto the N1 highway heading west. After about 60 kilometers, take the exit towards Anomabo. Follow the signs to Anomabo, which is approximately 10 kilometers away. As you enter Anomabo, look for signs directing you to Fort William, which is located along the coast.

From Kokrobite, walk to the nearest tro-tro station. Take a tro-tro heading towards Accra. Get off at the central bus station in Accra, then transfer to a tro-tro or a bus heading to Cape Coast. Inform the driver you want to get off at Anomabo. Once in Anomabo, you can either walk to Fort William (which is about a 10-minute walk from the tro-tro drop-off point) or hire a local taxi to take you directly to the fort.
