Getting There

    Start your journey in Kokrobite by heading north on the main road towards Accra. Continue for approximately 30 minutes, following the signs for Accra. Once you reach the outskirts of Accra, look for the signs leading to 'Jamestown' or '600 Bruce Rd.' Take a left turn onto Bruce Rd. and follow it for about 5 minutes. The Jamestown Lighthouse will be on your right. Parking is available nearby, but be cautious of local traffic.

  • Public Transportation (Tro-Tro)

    From Kokrobite, locate a tro-tro station that offers routes to Accra. Board a tro-tro heading to 'Kaneshie' or 'Accra Central.' The fare should be around GHS 3-5. Inform the conductor that you want to get off near Jamestown. Once you arrive at Kaneshie, transfer to a tro-tro going towards 'Nima' or 'Jamestown.' The fare for this leg will be approximately GHS 2-3. After about 15 minutes, get off when you see the lighthouse or ask the conductor to notify you. Walk a short distance to reach the Jamestown Lighthouse.

    For a more direct route, consider taking a taxi from Kokrobite to Jamestown Lighthouse. Negotiate the fare beforehand, which should be around GHS 40-60 depending on traffic.
