Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in the central area of Kumasi, start at the Kumasi Central Market, which is a well-known landmark. From the market, head south on Adum Road towards the Kumasi Cultural Center. Walk for about 15 minutes until you reach the intersection with the main road. At the intersection, take a left onto Boadi Road and continue straight for approximately 20 minutes. You will pass by various shops and local vendors along the way. Keep an eye out for the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) entrance on your right. Continue walking until you reach the MCPQ+4MP area, which is where Botenical Junction is located.

• Public Transport (Trotro)

  From your location in Kumasi, locate the nearest trotro station, which is often found near the Central Market or any major intersection. Board a trotro heading towards KNUST. The fare is usually very affordable. Inform the conductor that you're going to Botenical Junction. After roughly 20-30 minutes, the trotro will drop you off close to KNUST. From there, walk towards the MCPQ+4MP area, which is about a 10-minute walk straight ahead. Look for directional signs or ask locals for guidance if needed.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from a local rental shop in Kumasi. Start from the central area and head towards the Kumasi Cultural Center. From there, follow Adum Road south for about 15 minutes. After reaching the main intersection, turn left onto Boadi Road. Cyclists should be cautious of traffic. Continue on this road until you see the signs for KNUST. Keep an eye out for MCPQ+4MP, which is where Botenical Junction is situated. The total cycling distance is approximately 5 kilometers, so plan accordingly.
