Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in Danyame, start by heading southeast on Danyame Road towards the main road. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with the Kumasi-Tafo Road (also known as the main road). You may see local shops and eateries along the way. Once at the main road, turn left and continue walking. You will pass a few notable landmarks such as the Danyame Market and various local businesses. After about 15-20 minutes of walking, you will come across Manhyia Palace on your right side. It is located at the address P93P+M2Q, Palace, Kumasi.

  • Public Transport (Trotro)

    From Danyame, head to the nearest trotro station. Look for a trotro heading towards the central area of Kumasi. Board the trotro and inform the driver that you are heading to Manhyia Palace. The fare is typically around 1-2 GHS. The journey will take approximately 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the nearest stop to Manhyia Palace, disembark and walk towards the palace, which should be visible from the main road.
