Two wonderful weeks birding in Ghana

My daughter and I have recently returned from two weeks in Ghana arranged by your company and we would like you to know how much we enjoyed the trip. My main interest was birding and we saw a total of 254 different species of which 118 were new to me. We also appreciated the opportunity to learn more of the culture of Ghana in general and the Ashanti in particular. And the butterflies, moths, other insects and various lizards/geckos were fantastic. Our bird guide, Johnson, was dedicated and caring; our driver Daniel was always kind and cheerful despite some challenging road conditions. At the lodges we met more kind and caring people. My daughter greatly appreciated walks, jogs and cycle rides with Edmund at Lou Moon and Enoch at Picathartes. We particularly appreciated the accommodation at the Picathartes Guesthouse and Ankasa Reserve Lodge; and Lou Moon was paradise! Please pass on our appreciation and gratitude to all concerned. He made us feel safe all the time (9 days), we had a great comfy car and had the best mix of local experiences, beautiful nature and history!
