    From Kwahu, head towards the town of Nkawkaw on the Nkwatia to Nkawkaw road. Once you reach Nkawkaw, continue on the main road until you reach the junction leading to Ayonukope. Make sure to ask locals for guidance if unsure. Once you are on the road to Ayonukope, follow the signs. The Songor Lagoon Protected Area is located at RFP9+3JH, Ayonukope. Parking is available near the entrance.

    Take a shared taxi or a trotro from any main station in Kwahu heading to Nkawkaw. Once you arrive at Nkawkaw, switch to a trotro headed to Ayonukope. Inform the driver you are going to Songor Lagoon Protected Area. The driver will drop you off at the nearest point to the lagoon, which may require a short walk to the entrance. Be prepared to pay a small fee for the trotro fare, which can vary from GH₵3 to GH₵10 depending on the distance.
