Car
If you're traveling by car, start your journey from the center of Kwahu. Head towards Obo by taking the Kwahu Ridge Road (also known as the Abetifi Road). Continue on this road for approximately 15 kilometers until you reach the outskirts of Obo. Look for the signposts directing you to the Twenedurase Cemetery, located at J639+78 in Obo. The cemetery is accessible via a small dirt road off the main road. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for this terrain, as some parts may be uneven.
Public Transportation
To reach Twenedurase Cemetery via public transportation, find a shared taxi or a ‘tro tro’ heading towards Obo from Abetifi or another nearby town in Kwahu. The fare to Obo should be around 2-5 GHS, depending on your starting point. Once you arrive in Obo, inform the driver or conductor that you wish to visit Twenedurase Cemetery. From the Obo market, you can either walk (approximately 20 minutes) or negotiate with local bike riders for a short ride to the cemetery entrance at J639+78.
Walking
If you are already in Obo, the Twenedurase Cemetery is walkable from the town center. Head towards the main road leading out of Obo, and look for the first dirt road on your right. Follow this road for about 1 kilometer, and you will arrive at the cemetery. Ensure to wear comfortable shoes, as the path may be uneven in some parts.
