If you are traveling by car, start from any location in Lake Volta and make your way towards the town of Ho. Follow the main road that connects the lakeside towns to Ho. Once you reach Ho, look for directional signs to the Volta Bridge, which is located at 17 Ho - Denu Rd. The bridge is approximately 5 kilometers from the center of Ho, so ensure you have a map or GPS to guide you accurately.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, head to the nearest trotro station (shared minibus). Board a trotro heading to Ho and confirm with the driver that they will drop you off at the main bus station in Ho. After arriving in Ho, you can either walk or take a short taxi ride to reach Volta Bridge. The distance from the bus station to the bridge is about 3 kilometers, and taxi fares should be negotiated before starting your ride, typically costing around 10 Ghanaian Cedis.
Walking
If you're already in Ho and prefer to walk, start from the central market area. Head southeast on Ho - Denu Rd. Continue walking straight for about 3 kilometers. You will pass through local neighborhoods and see various shops and eateries along the way. The Volta Bridge will be on your right-hand side as you approach.
