Upon entering Elmina, look for signs pointing to Elmina Castle, located at 3MM2+4R3. Note that parking is available nearby, but may incur a small fee.

To reach Elmina Castle using public transportation, you can take a trotro (shared taxi) from any major town in the North East Region to Cape Coast. The most common route is to travel to Kumasi first, then switch to a trotro heading to Cape Coast. The total journey may take around 4-6 hours depending on traffic. Once in Cape Coast, you can take another trotro or taxi directly to Elmina.
