Getting there

Car

If you're traveling by car within the North East Region, head towards the town of Afadjato. From there, take the main road leading to Mount Afadja. The mountain is located approximately 15 kilometers from Afadjato. Follow the signs that indicate the direction to Mount Afadja. Be prepared for some winding roads as you get closer to the mountain. Parking is available at the base of the mountain.

To reach Mount Afadja using public transportation, take a shared taxi or a minibus from any major town in the North East Region to Afadjato. The fare typically ranges from 5 to 10 GHS. Once you arrive in Afadjato, look for local taxis that can take you directly to the base of Mount Afadja. The taxi fare from Afadjato to the mountain base should be around 15 to 20 GHS.
