Car
From Tamale, head south on the N10 road. Continue for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach the junction for the C5 highway. Turn left onto the C5 highway and drive for about 5 kilometers. NOBISCO forest is located at the coordinates C5P2+WQM, which you can enter into your GPS. Look out for a sign indicating the entrance to the forest. Parking is available on-site, but be sure to check for any fees.
Public Transport
From the Tamale main bus terminal, take a shared taxi or mini-bus heading towards the direction of the C5 highway. Inform the driver that you are going to NOBISCO forest. The fare is typically around 2-5 GHS per person. The journey usually takes about 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive near the C5 highway, you may need to walk a short distance to reach the entrance of the forest. Be prepared for a short walk, as public transport may not drop you exactly at the entrance.
Walking
If you are staying in a nearby location, you can walk to NOBISCO forest. The forest is approximately 2 kilometers from central Tamale. Start from the main market area and head southwest towards the C5 highway. Follow the road signage and ask locals for directions if needed. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes, as the terrain may vary.
