Walking
If you are starting from the center of Sekondi-Takoradi, head towards the main road called the Sekondi-Takoradi Highway. Walk northwest until you reach the junction at Anaji. Continue on the highway until you see the sign for Poeny Drive. Turn onto Poeny Drive, and continue walking straight. Aqua Makarios will be on your right. It is a well-known park in the area, so if you ask locals for directions, they should be able to guide you.

Public Transport (Trotro)
From any point in Sekondi-Takoradi, you can take a trotro headed towards Takoradi. Make sure to inform the driver that you want to get off at Poeny Drive. Once you arrive, you will see a sign for Aqua Makarios on your left. Get off the trotro and walk a short distance until you reach the entrance of the park.

Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, start from the central area of Sekondi-Takoradi and cycle towards the Sekondi-Takoradi Highway. Follow the same route as pedestrians, but be mindful of traffic. Once you reach the junction at Anaji, turn onto Poeny Drive. Keep cycling straight and Aqua Makarios will be on your right. It’s a pleasant ride, especially during the cooler hours of the day.
