Continue straight until you reach the intersection at the Tamale Metro Mass Transit Station. Turn left onto Kalandan Road. Walk for another 5-7 minutes, and you will see the entrance to Kalandan Barracks on your right. Grassroot Tours Ghana is located inside the Kalandan Barracks, so proceed to the gate and inform the security personnel that you are visiting Grassroot Tours Ghana.
Bicycle
Starting from the Tamale Central Market, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops. Head southwest on Nkrumah Road for approximately 1 km. After passing the Tamale Metro Mass Transit Station, turn left onto Kalandan Road. Continue biking for about 2 km until you reach the Kalandan Barracks entrance on your right. Park your bicycle outside and walk through the entrance to find Grassroot Tours Ghana.
Public Transportation (Tro-Tro)
From the Tamale Central Market, locate the nearest Tro-Tro station. Look for Tro-Tros heading towards Kalandan, which should be marked on their destination signs. Board the Tro-Tro and pay the fare (usually a small amount). After about 15-20 minutes of travel, request the driver to drop you off at Kalandan Barracks.
