If you are driving, start your journey from Ho, the capital of the Volta Region. Head north on the N2 road towards Aburi. After approximately 30 kilometers, take a left turn onto the road to Liati Wote. Continue on this road for about 15 kilometers until you reach the town of Liati Wote. From here, follow the signs to Tagbo Falls, which is approximately 5 kilometers away. The road may become bumpy, so drive carefully. Parking is available near the falls.
Public Transportation
To reach Tagbo Falls via public transportation, start from Ho. Board a trotro heading to Liati Wote; these can be found at the main station in Ho. The fare is usually around 5 GHS. The journey takes about 45 minutes. Once you arrive in Liati Wote, you can either walk to Tagbo Falls (approximately 5 kilometers) or hire a local motorcycle taxi (okada) for around 10 GHS to take you directly to the falls. Ensure to negotiate the fare before starting the ride.
Walking
If you prefer to walk from Liati Wote to Tagbo Falls, you can do so by following the main road leading north out of the town. The walk is approximately 5 kilometers and will take about 1 hour. Enjoy the scenic views along the way, but be cautious of the local traffic and the uneven terrain as you approach the falls.
