Getting There

  • Bicycle

    From the center of Wa, start at the Wa Municipal Assembly. Head south on the main road (Wa-Bamboi Road) for approximately 3 km until you reach the junction for the Wa-Bole route. Turn right and continue for another 5 km until you reach the village of Beyin. From Beyin, follow the signs toward Amansuri Lake, where you will find the Nzulezo-Stilt Village. The entire journey is about 8 km and will take roughly 30 to 45 minutes depending on your cycling speed.

  • Walking

    If you prefer to walk, start at the Wa Municipal Assembly and head south on the Wa-Bamboi Road. Continue straight for about 3 km until you reach the junction. At the junction, turn right onto the Wa-Bole route and walk for another 5 km. When you arrive in Beyin, ask locals for directions to Amansuri Lake. This walk will take approximately 2 to 3 hours, so be sure to wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated.

    From Wa's central market area, locate the shared taxi or 'trotro' station. Board a 'trotro' heading to Beyin. The trip should take about 30 to 45 minutes.
