Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Nzema (for example, from the Nzema Market). Head west on the main road (N1) towards the village of Akwidaa. Continue driving for about 30 minutes until you reach the fork near Akwidaa, where you should take the left turn towards Amansuri Lake. Follow this road for another 15 minutes until you see the signs for the lake. There is a small parking area available where you can leave your car.
Public Transportation
To reach Amansuri Lake by public transport, head to the Nzema bus station. Look for a shared taxi or a trotro (minibus) heading towards Akwidaa. The fare should be around GHS 5-10, depending on the vehicle and the number of passengers. Inform the driver that you are going to Amansuri Lake, and they will drop you off at the fork near Akwidaa. From there, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 kilometers along the road towards Amansuri Lake, following the signs. Be prepared for a short walk on uneven paths.
Taxi
For a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from your location in Nzema to Amansuri Lake. The cost will typically range from GHS 30 to GHS 50, depending on your starting point and the negotiation with the driver. The taxi will take you directly to the entrance of the lake, making it a convenient option, especially if you are traveling in a group.
