Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start your journey from any major town in the Western North Region, such as Bodi or Enchi. From Bodi, head northwest towards Enchi on the N2 road. Once you reach Enchi, continue on the N2 for approximately 25 km until you see signs for Adwuofua. Turn right at the junction towards Adwuofua, and follow the road for about 10 km. The Bia Game Production Reserve is located at GW3C+XWW, Adwuofua. There is parking available at the reserve, but please note that a small entry fee may be required upon arrival.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Bia Game Production Reserve via public transportation, start by taking a shared taxi or a bus from your location in the Western North Region to Enchi. Once you arrive in Enchi, look for local taxis that are heading towards Adwuofua. Confirm with the driver that they will drop you off at or near the Bia Game Production Reserve. The fare for the taxi from Enchi to Adwuofua should be around 5-10 GHS depending on the distance and the number of passengers. Upon arrival, you may still need to walk a short distance to the entrance of the reserve.

• Motorbike

  An adventurous option is to rent a motorbike. Starting from either Bodi or Enchi, follow the same route as you would for a car. Riding a motorbike gives you the flexibility to explore the area at your own pace. Ensure you have a helmet and are aware of local traffic rules. The cost to rent a motorbike typically ranges from 30-50 GHS per day.

• Bicycle

  For the environmentally conscious, cycling to Bia Game Production Reserve is an excellent option. You can rent a bicycle in either Bodi or Enchi. Follow the same route as the car guidance, but be prepared for some hilly terrain. It's recommended to start early in the morning to avoid the heat. Bicycle rentals usually cost around 10-15 GHS per day, and you may need to bring your own water and snacks.
