If you are traveling by car from any location in Western Region, head towards the town of Dodowa. From Dodowa, take the Accra-Dodowa road (N4) and continue until you reach the junction for the Shai Hills Resource Reserve, which is approximately 30 km from Dodowa. Turn left onto the road leading to the reserve. Follow the signs to the entrance of the reserve. Please note that there may be entrance fees for the reserve, so keep some cash handy.

Public Transportation
For public transportation, you can take a trotro (shared minibus) from any major town in Western Region to Dodowa. Once you arrive in Dodowa, look for a trotro heading towards Shai Hills. Ensure to confirm with the driver that they will drop you at the entrance of the reserve. The fare for the trotro should be around GHS 5-10, depending on your starting point. Upon arrival, you may need to walk a short distance to the entrance of Shai Hills Resource Reserve. Entrance fees may apply, so have some cash ready.
