Walking

From the center of Casemates Square, face the main road (the Main Street). Walk towards the entrance of the square with the large cannon. As you exit the square, turn left onto the Main Street. Continue walking straight, passing various shops and cafes on your left and right. After about 5 minutes, you'll reach the intersection with the entrance to the Upper Rock Nature Reserve. Keep walking straight until you see the sign for Castle Steps. It is located just past the entrance to the nature reserve, and there will be a clearly marked path leading up to the steps.
