Getting There

Walking
From the center of Catalan Bay, head towards the beach and take the path that leads up the hill towards the main road. Follow the path until you reach the main road, known as the Southern Road (also referred to as the A1). Turn left onto the Southern Road and continue walking. You will see signs for the Gibraltar Cable Car directing you to the right. Follow the signs and walk until you reach the entrance of the Gibraltar Cable Car station located at Red Sands Rd, which is approximately a 25-minute walk from the center of Catalan Bay.

From Catalan Bay, walk to the nearest bus stop located along the Southern Road. Take Bus 1 or Bus 2, both of which travel towards the town center. Inform the driver that you wish to go to the Gibraltar Cable Car station. The ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at the bus stop nearest to the cable car station, disembark and follow the signs to the entrance located at Red Sands Rd.
