Walking
From the center of Catalan Bay, head towards the main road (Catalan Bay Road). Continue walking along this road until you reach the intersection with the main road leading into Gibraltar. Turn right at the intersection and follow the road into the town center of Gibraltar. You will pass through a few shops and cafes along the way. After approximately 15-20 minutes of walking, you will arrive at Grand Casemates Square, which is a large open area. Look for the square’s distinctive architecture and the surrounding restaurants and shops.

If you are near the beach in Catalan Bay, start by walking towards the main path that leads up to the residential area. Upon reaching the top of the hill, take a left onto Catalan Bay Road. Continue on this road until it merges with the main road into Gibraltar. Follow the signs towards the town center and keep walking straight. After about 20-25 minutes, you will see Grand Casemates Square on your right. It’s located just off the main thoroughfare, with plenty of signage to guide you.
