    Walking

    From Casemates Square in the city center, walk south along Main Street. Continue past the Grand Parade car park and follow Europa Road, bearing in mind it will take approximately 40 minutes to reach the entrance. Turn onto Engineer Road and proceed to the Pillars of Hercules, where you'll find the ticket office for the Upper Rock Nature Reserve. The entrance to the Mediterranean Steps is signposted opposite the ticket office. Nature Reserve tickets cost £19 for adults.

    Public Transport

    From the Gibraltar Cruise Terminal or the city center, take bus number 2 towards Europa Point. Alight at the Garrison Gym bus stop on Europa Road. Walk up Windmill Hill Road to the Pillars of Hercules and the ticket office. Purchase your ticket for the Upper Rock Nature Reserve, which costs £19 for adults. The Mediterranean Steps begin opposite the ticket office. A single bus fare is approximately £2.
