    From the Gibraltar Harbour area, walk towards Main Street, then turn left onto Line Wall Road. Continue for approximately 20-25 minutes, following signs for the Windsor Suspension Bridge. The bridge will be on your left. Remember to wear comfortable shoes.

    Public Transport

    From the Gibraltar Harbour area, take a local bus towards 'Upper Rock' or 'The Apes'. Get off at the bus stop closest to the entrance to the bridge area and follow the pedestrian path. Bus fare is typically around £1.50.

    Taxi

    From the Gibraltar Cruise Ship Terminal, a taxi to the Upper Rock Nature Reserve entrance (near the Apes' Den) will cost approximately £10-£15. From there, follow the signs to the Windsor Suspension Bridge. Note that there is an entry fee to the Nature Reserve.

    The Windsor Suspension Bridge, opened on June 21st, 2016, is a pedestrian-only bridge that has quickly become one of Gibraltar's most iconic and exhilarating attractions. Spanning 71 meters across a 50-meter deep gorge, the bridge connects two batteries along the Royal Anglian Way in the Upper Rock Nature Reserve.Constructed by Bovis Koala, a local Gibraltar firm, in collaboration with Muntanya, a Spanish contractor, the bridge's major components were assembled in Spain and transported to Gibraltar. The bridge is anchored on either side, driven 12 meters into the rock face. Crossing the bridge offers a thrilling experience, with a slight sway adding to the adventure. From the bridge, visitors can enjoy panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea, the Strait of Gibraltar, the Algeciras Bay, and the North African coastline.The Windsor Suspension Bridge is part of a broader effort to enhance the Upper Rock Nature Reserve, improving walking trails and providing interpretation panels. Access to the bridge is free, with the purchase of a ticket to the Upper Rock Nature Reserve. The bridge is accessible via a steep and winding path within the Upper Rock Nature Reserve, or via a straighter, more level path from Apes' Den.
