Getting There

  • Walking

    From the Europa Point Lighthouse, walk north along the marked pedestrian pathway. Continue to the intersection with the main road, 'Road to the Rock,' and follow signs to the Gibraltar Aerobeacon. Cross the road and walk along Rock Gun Road, passing a small garden. The Aerobeacon will be ahead on Rock Gun Road. This walk takes approximately 30-40 minutes.

    Take a local bus from North Front towards the city center. Get off at the stop closest to Gibraltar Airport. Walk approximately 15 minutes to Rock Gun Road. Head southwest towards Winston Churchill Avenue, then turn left onto Rock Gun Road. Check the local bus schedule for fares. Single tickets cost £1.60.

    From North Front, head south on Winston Churchill Avenue. Continue to the roundabout and take the second exit onto the A-383. Follow the road until you see signs for Rock Gun Road. Turn left onto Rock Gun Road and continue until you see the Gibraltar Aerobeacon on the right. Parking may be limited.
