From Europa Point Lighthouse, head southwest towards the end of the peninsula. Follow the pathway that leads directly towards the southernmost point of Gibraltar. As you walk, enjoy the views of the Mediterranean Sea on your left. Continue walking straight until you reach a fork in the path. Take the right path at the fork, which will lead you towards the Half Way Battery. It is about a 10-minute walk from the lighthouse.

To reach Half Way Battery using public transport, you can take a bus from the main bus terminal in Gibraltar to the Upper Rock Nature Reserve. Alight at the stop nearest to the reserve entrance. Once you exit the bus, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 kilometers uphill towards Half Way Battery. Follow the signs directing you to the battery.
