Car
If you are driving, start from the main road in Gibraltar Harbour, known as the A1. Follow the signs towards the 'Rock of Gibraltar' and 'St. Michael's Cave'. After approximately 1.5 km, take the exit towards 'Royal Anglian Way'. Continue on this road for about 500 meters. You will see a sign for Hayne's Cave Battery on your right. There is limited parking available nearby, so be on the lookout for parking spaces.
Public Bus
For those using public transportation, you can catch the number 2 bus from the Gibraltar Bus Station located at the end of Main Street. The bus will take you towards 'Alameda Gardens'. After about 10 minutes, get off at the 'Royal Anglian Way' stop. From there, walk approximately 400 meters uphill along Royal Anglian Way, and you'll reach the entrance to Hayne's Cave Battery.
Taxi
Taking a taxi is a convenient option. You can easily find a taxi at various points around Gibraltar Harbour, including near the bus station. Inform the driver that you would like to go to Hayne's Cave Battery on Royal Anglian Way. The fare should be around £8-£10, depending on traffic and time of day.
Walking
If you prefer to walk and are staying near the Gibraltar Harbour area, it's a pleasant stroll to Hayne's Cave Battery. Start at the waterfront and head towards the main road (A1). Walk uphill towards the 'Rock of Gibraltar' and follow the signs for 'St. Michael's Cave'. After about 30 minutes of walking, you will reach Royal Anglian Way. The battery will be on your left.
