Getting There
Car
If you are driving, start from the main road within Gibraltar Nature Reserve. Head towards the Upper Rock area, following signs to the Apes' Den. As you approach the area, you will see a road that leads to the top of the Rock. Drive up this road, known as the 'Rock Road.' Continue on this road for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the parking area near the top. From the parking area, you will need to walk a short distance to reach Middle Hill, which is located nearby.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take the Gibraltar bus service from the city center. Board the bus that goes to the Upper Rock. The bus will take you to the Apes' Den. Once you disembark at the Apes' Den stop, follow the signs for Middle Hill. It is a short walk from the bus stop to the hill itself. Please check the local bus schedule for the latest timings and fares, as they may vary.
Walking
If you are already within Gibraltar Nature Reserve and prefer to walk, locate the path leading from the Apes' Den area towards Middle Hill. Follow the well-marked trails that ascend towards the hill. The walk is moderately steep, so wear comfortable shoes. It should take about 15-20 minutes to reach Middle Hill from the Apes' Den.
